Sinthura joined the firm after summering and articling at another prominent union-side labour firm in Toronto. She received her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating in the top 3% of the class of 2024.
During law school, she worked as a student editor on the Journal of Law and Social Policy, was actively involved with Osgoode’s law union chapter, and assisted with a literature review of workers’ rights handbooks. She also spent eight formative months working as a student caseworker at Parkdale Community Legal Services (PCLS) in the Social Assistance, Violence, and Health Division and served a full term on its Board of Directors. She was awarded the Frederick H. Zemans Prize in Poverty Law for her contributions at PCLS.
