Our Firm

We have a strong and extensive record as negotiators in resolving a myriad of employment and labour-related disputes, as leaders and advisors in collective bargaining and in matters related to restructurings. In disputes requiring litigation, we listen intently, prepare carefully, and follow through resolutely.

Our History

Wright Henry was founded in 2019 by Michael Wright and Tracey Henry, seasoned lawyers with a wealth of experience in addressing the full spectrum of employment and labour-related issues in major, often high-profile, engagements. Our firm was founded on the simple proposition that lawyers with an exceptional breadth of skills and a commitment to the highest quality work can best represent employees, unions and associations.

That approach has worked.

Chambers and Partners has noted that we are a “recently established yet increasingly prominent” firm that “fields market-leading practitioners with considerable experience,” and that its lawyers have “significant capabilities” who are “accomplished” in litigation.

In 2021, after only two years of operation, Wright Henry was ranked by the Globe and Mail as one of the best law firms in Canada, reflecting the 200 firms that received the highest number of recommendations from others in their field.
